Walter Hatak has been appointed as the Deputy CEO for Austria at the Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen e.V. (FNG). He has been responsible for sustainable investment activities at Erste Asset Management since 2019. Following yesterday’s general meeting, the FNG announced that Walter Hatak has been elected as the Deputy CEO for Austria. He will be joining the current board, which consists of Chairman Marian Klemm and three deputy CEOs from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The FNG is a professional association for sustainable investments in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland, representing approximately 200 members who advocate for more sustainability in the financial sector. The FNG is well-known for its annual market report on sustainable investments in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Additionally, the Forum has developed the FNG seal, which is considered a quality standard for sustainable investments and is one of the most important and prestigious sustainability certifications in the German-speaking region. The label process is operated by the non-profit research organization F.I.R.S.T (Finance-Impact-Research-Sustainability-Transparency).
