Beyoncé, Kaytranada, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin are among the top contenders for the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony, with Beyoncé leading the pack with 11 nominations for her album Cowboy Carter. The Quebecois artist Kaytranada has been nominated three times for his album Timeless in the Best Electro Album category, as well as for his work on the track Witchy with Childish Gambino in the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category. Additionally, his remix of Alter Ego by Doechii and JT is up for Best Remix.

Yannick Nézet-Séguin has also received three nominations, with two of the works he conducted, Catán – Florencia En El Amazonas and Puts – The Hours, competing in the Best Opera Recording category. His collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra on the Maestro film score is nominated for Best Score for Visual Media.

Canadian artists have made a significant contribution to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, with Toronto producer Nathan Ferraro, singer-songwriters Megan Bülow and Elizabeth Lowell Boland, and Montreal musician Dave Hamelin all receiving nominations for their work on the album.

In addition to Beyoncé, other artists such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, André 3000, and Jacob Collier are nominated for Album of the Year.

Post Malone has received his first-ever nominations in the country categories for his album F-1 Trillion, with his collaboration with Morgan Wallen on I Had Some Help being nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Performance by a Duo/Group. Malone is tied with Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX for seven nominations each, following closely behind Beyoncé.
