Ramelius Resources Appoints New Executives

Tim Hewitt has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer, effective mid-February 2025. With over 30 years of industry experience at LIHIR Gold, St Barbara, Newmont, and most recently Gold Fields, where he served as the General Manager of St Ives and Gruyere, as well as Vice President – Technical/Mining, Mr. Hewitt brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

Additionally, the company revealed that Alan Thom has been promoted to Chief Development Officer with immediate effect. Having spent nearly three years as GM – Business Development, Mr. Thom is a mining engineer with more than 25 years of experience in various roles within resource projects. From geological concept to feasibility and development, he has a deep understanding of the industry and will now oversee all business development activities at Ramelius Resources.
