The driver reportedly lost control of the car due to fatigue, causing it to veer off the road and hit the truck. The Mercedes even overturned as a result of the collision.
Despite the accident, Bayer Leverkusen assured that Boniface is doing well with only minor injuries to his hand. The total damage from the accident is estimated to be around 200,000 euros.
