The Vereinigte Stadtwerke GmbH (VS) is gearing up for the annual consumption statement for 2024, and they need your help to make sure everything runs smoothly. Starting from November 18th, meter cards will be sent out to customers in their network. Instead of sending your meter readings by mail, you can easily do it through the VS website or even simpler, using the QR code on the letter that comes with the meter cards. Due to capacity reasons, reporting meter readings over the phone is not an option.
For residents in apartment buildings, VS employees will be reading the meters starting from the 47th calendar week. Please grant them access to the meters and don’t hesitate to ask for their identification.
On the meter cards, make sure to write down the meter reading (including decimal points) and the date it was taken. Marita Lehnhoff, the Customer Service and Billing Manager at the Vereinigte Stadtwerke GmbH, emphasizes the importance of matching the printed meter number with the one on your meter. This is crucial to avoid delays and errors in the process. Additionally, please only submit your meter readings once. Multiple submissions (e.g. by mail and online) will only cause extra work and delays in processing.
The deadline for submitting meter readings is December 6, 2024. This allows enough time to process the data and send out the statements promptly by the end of January 2025. Make sure to do your part to ensure a smooth and efficient process for everyone involved.
