In connection with the discovery of the body of a 65-year-old Italian woman residing in Italy, the Ticino cantonal police arrested a man on Tuesday morning. The man is a 68-year-old Italian citizen residing in Mendrisiotto.
The man arrested yesterday is suspected of intentional homicide. The investigations are being coordinated by prosecutor Petra Canonica Alexakis. Due to the ongoing investigations, no further information is currently being provided.
