Arctic Gas Supply to Alleviate Winter Shortages: A Comprehensive Overview
China’s energy security is set to receive a significant boost with the annual imports from the Yamal natural gas project in the Arctic region. This move comes at a crucial time as the country is currently facing a severe shortage of natural gas, particularly in northern China. According to an executive from China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), the increasing supplies of natural gas from the Yamal project will play a crucial role in securing China’s energy needs.
