Beatrice Keul, a former Miss Switzerland candidate, has come forward with serious accusations against former US President Donald Trump. She claims that he sexually harassed and groped her, as reported by the British newspaper “Daily Mail.” The incident allegedly took place in 1993 at the New York Plaza Hotel, where Keul was invited by Trump to participate in the “Miss American Dream” competition he organized.
Keul, who was the second runner-up in the Miss Switzerland pageant in 1992, shared that Trump had shown a particular interest in her from the start. During their encounter at the Plaza Hotel, Trump reportedly engaged in a lengthy conversation with her, despite the presence of over 50 other contestants. Subsequently, a member of Trump’s staff informed her that Trump wanted to speak with her privately.
Naively, Keul followed Trump to a hotel room where he allegedly made unwanted advances towards her, kissing her and attempting to undress her. She managed to extricate herself from the situation by politely putting him off for another time. Keul explained that she was afraid the situation would escalate if she resisted too strongly. She reflected on her height of 1.85 meters as a possible factor that may have saved her from further harm.
In an attempt to escape the uncomfortable situation, Keul engaged in conversation with her attacker for about half an hour. Trump even offered to arrange for her to study at a university in the USA. Before parting ways, he held her, kissed her, and mentioned seeing her again in the future. Trump later called Keul’s mother to seek permission for her to visit the USA.
During her time in New York, Keul also encountered Trump’s friend, Jeffrey Epstein, who repeatedly appeared at the “Miss American Dream” competition and invited her to a party at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Epstein was insistent on taking care of her expenses and organizing events with Trump, but Keul declined his offer.
Upon returning to Switzerland, Keul felt disturbed by the events that unfolded and attempted to bury the memories by stashing away all related documents. However, while sorting through her belongings recently, she stumbled upon these items, prompting the memories to resurface. It is reported that Keul is planning to release a book soon and has launched several social media channels since late October.
Keul’s allegations add to a series of accusations against Donald Trump, including recent claims by model Stacey Williams from 1993. These accounts align with the case of E. Jean Carroll, where Trump was convicted of sexual offenses, as well as numerous other instances where women have accused him of similar misconduct.
