Barron Trump (18), the son of former President Donald Trump (78) and his wife Melania (54), had to experience this recently. In a video podcast, the Republican presidential candidate candidly revealed that his youngest son has “never had a girlfriend.”
Moderator Patrick Bet-David (46) asked how Barron was doing with “the ladies” at school, prompting the former president to embarrassingly blurt out that Barron has never had a girlfriend. To salvage the situation, Trump quickly added, “He is very smart. He is a good student and so on.” He emphasized that Barron attends a great school and does really well academically. He described Barron as a very nice guy and then somewhat backtracked on the girlfriend question, saying, “I’m not sure – I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet. I don’t think so.”
Since September, Barron has been studying at New York University (NYU), majoring in business at the Stern School of Business. The cost of admission to the largest private university in the US is approximately €57,000 per year.
On social media, a young woman named Maddie recently claimed to have been in a relationship with the president’s son. In a TikTok video from four years ago that recently resurfaced in the media, Maddie stated, “For those asking: I went to school with Barron Trump, and he was my first boyfriend.” The then 15-year-old praised Barron as “the best” and “the nicest.” When asked about the sound of Barron’s voice, she replied, “It is very deep.”
As for Barron’s response to his father’s revelations and the alleged ex-girlfriend, we probably won’t hear much. As usual, the teenager remains very private about his personal life. Despite the speculation and rumors, Barron Trump keeps a low profile and stays focused on his studies at NYU.
